About Voicexperience

The VOICExperience Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, established by world-renowned baritone Sherrill Milnes and his wife, soprano Maria Zouves. Its mission is to pass on the traditions of great singing and develop new audiences for opera. Since 2001, VOICExperience has helped thousands of singers find their career path through educational programs and workshops, where emerging artists work with the best names in opera, musical theatre and song.

Now under the umbrella of The Sherrill Milnes VOICE Programs, VOICExperience continues its dedication to the quality, integrity and perpetuation of the vocal arts through life-changing intensives, performances, and community enriching outreach events in New York, Georgia (with the Savannah VOICE Festival), Florida and Illinois.

    Levy Memorial Concert

    Savannah, GA Savannah Jewish Educational Alliance, 5111 Abercorn Street

    This year, for the first time in several years, the annual Jack Malitz and Miriam Slotin Levy Memorial Concert will be held in the fall, October 14 at the JEA. The concert will feature Savannah VOICE Festival and special guest pianist, Benjamin Warsaw and other instrumentalists.

    This year the show will be a celebration of Jewish composers and will include a repertoire of Porgy & Bess and West Side Story and feature composers such as Gershwin, Bernstein, Copland and Rogers & Hammerstein. The Sunday afternoon concert is sure to leave its audience feeling very uplifted and humming melodies all the way home.

    The annual Levy Concert, made possible by the Jack Malitz and Miriam Slotin Levy Memorial Fund of the Jewish Community Foundation of Savannah, is free and open to the public. People of all ages are welcome and includes a dessert reception.

    Doors open at 1:30pm at the JEA, with the concert beginning at 2pm.

    Fall Phantoms and Scary Tunes
