Begin your classical training

Camp VOICE offers mentorship for the young singer as they transition into serious classical study. During their week in this program, these budding artists work with top professionals in the operatic world. Daily class topics include diction and interpretation, college and career preparation, and stage deportment.

This summer program is an intensive and students should expect to be busy most of each day. Expect to take advantage of every moment with our program faculty.

This program is appropriate for singers ages 15-19. Students under 18 should plan to attend with a guardian, as VOICExperience cannot provide chaperones during this program.

This program takes place in person.

COVID-19 safety measures will be in place for the duration of the program. Guardians will be asked to follow the COVID-19 protocols in place for all participants.

  • Sessions begin at 10am daily, with evening events most days
  • Singers can expect one voice lesson OR one private coaching each day
  • Singers can expect at least one group coaching and/or workshop each day
  • Opening “Meet Camp VOICE” performance
  • Master Class opportunities with Sherrill Milnes and guest faculty
  • Opportunities to observe the next level singers in the Milnes VOICE Studio in lessons, coachings and rehearsals
  • Additional workshops and Seminars aimed at college and skill development
  • Final Showcase performance

In order to provide the best program for our singers, we begin planning as soon as singers are accepted to the program. This program is an intensive, therefore we do not recommend scheduling other activities during your time with us. We don’t want you to miss out on all that this program has to offer!
