Entering its 25th year, VOICExperience has been nurturing and training artists of all levels in programs around the country. Led by opera legend Sherrill Milnes, our intensives offer training with leaders in the opera industry and a personalized experience for each singer that enrolls.
From dramatic training through Opera as Drama to role study and audition preparation during our summer programs, artists have many opportunities to improve their craft with VOICExperience. We believe in development of the whole artist from technique and performance to professional development and personal branding. Artists also have the unique opportunity to strategize their career paths with industry professionals in a nurturing environment.
Applications are now open!
VOICExperience also offers a Beyond the Stage program. Train as a stage manager, arts administrator, conductor, collaborative pianist, video editor and more! Our esteemed faculty and staff provide mentorship and guidance for all individuals seeking a non-singing career path.

The Milnes VOICE Programs recognize and respect the individuality of all artists. The staff and faculty of VOICE pledge to recognize and call out personal and systemic biases. In our mission to grow the artistic community, judgments will be based solely on a person’s musical potential, ability, and desire to learn and grow in the art. VOICE will do this through the creation of welcoming and inclusive environments and anti-discriminatory practices throughout our programs.
